I have been a professional builder for years now, and sometimes there are things that you just can’t do your job without.
That is one thing that I have learned over the years. Certain supplies are more important than others, and sometimes it seems that without them, you just can’t do your job. Take my favorite hammer, for example. Without my favorite hammer in my tool belt, I just cannot get anything done. It’s one of those things that is standard, and it is very important. Another product that I have started to feel that way about over the past few years is a product called 16 gauge rebar wire ties. I know that seems like a random thing to feel this passionately about, but these 16 gauge rebar wire ties have come in handy for us so many times over the years that now I just keep them in stock in my warehouse at all times. We always have them on hand, because I just never know when my crew is going to need a bag of them. This product comes in bags of 2500 or 5000 to a bag and I usually just go ahead and buy the larger bags because I know good and well that we are going to use them eventually. Luckily for me, they are very durable and they last forever. They are made of high quality wire and since it’s all galvanized, it is super durable and strong. We use them a lot whenever we are out on job sites whenever we need a good fastening mechanism.
