Back last year, we had trouble getting certain supplies
Back last year during the pandemic whenever everything was shutting down, we had lots of troubles getting certain supplies that we needed.
- I guess they were having problems with all kinds of things from overseas products to supply chain breakdown.
I know that some of that stuff just could not be helped but it got to be a huge issue for us at one point. We needed to make sure that we were going to be able to get the plastic coated double loop wire ties that we always use in our agricultural department. We use these specific plastic coated double loop wire ties for just about everything in our agricultural department and without them, we had a lot of problems getting things done. Some days, we weren’t even able to get to work at all. We ended up taking some unpaid days off because we weren’t able to get the supplies that we needed to work. I guess you just take for granted sometimes that the items that you need for your job are just going to be there when you need them. Whenever they aren’t, then it’s like you just don’t know what to do with yourself. I thought that we were going to have to shut down because of our lack of plastic coated double loop wire ties. Whenever the supply chain finally got straightened out, we ended up with a ton of plastic coated double loop wire ties because all of the ones that we had ordered came in at once. After that, everything got back to normal.
