Not happy being a homeowner
I moved to Jacksonville after graduating from a university in the northeast. Leaving behind the cold & snow was a superb decision. I cherish the bright sunshine, green skies & moderate hot & cold temperatures of northern Florida. Initially, I rented an apartment. I found a site in a sizable complex that included all sorts of amenities. I had access to a sizable inground swimming pool, boiling tub, pool table, ping pong table, tennis court, sun loungers, fitness center & barbecue grill. The appliances in the dwelling were brand new & state-of-the-art. My countertops were granite, & I appreciated the view from a private balcony. If anything went wrong, I called repair to repair it. Eventually, I decided it was time to invest in my own home. Although I was super happy to finally buy a house, I did not like being a homeowner. There was constant repairs, repair, work & expense. I had no luxuries & no free time. I couldn’t get out from under the responsibility of that dwelling fast enough. Rather than deal with the hassle, fees & delays of listing via a real estate agent, I chose to contact a cash home buyer. This process eliminated the need to schedule an inspection or undergo an appraisal. I didn’t need to worry about curb appeal or fixing anything. I just submitted an online form to a local Jacksonville cash home buyer. I heard back within twenty-four hours. The offer represented honest market value. I accepted & moved out ten days later. The cash in my bank account allowed me to provide a security deposit & cover quite a few months rent on a new apartment.
