The cost on the American Made coils are going up in September

Due to the rising costs and inflation, the price on some of my construction materials is going up next month and I am very unhappy about the changes.

For someone like myself, even a $1 cost rise can affect my business partially.

I use a great deal of rebar supplies and they all come from the same metal company. The metal company supplies me with PVC coated, stainless steel, and black annealed forming wire. I use the forming wire in a number of different construction projects. I have been in business with the metal company since the early part of last year. I have been purchasing the black annealed, stainless steel, and PVC coated forming wire from the same company for the past 3 years. This is honestly the first time that they have raised the prices of the American-made rebar tie wire. The American made rebar tie wire cost is going up on the 14 gauge, 16 gauge, and 19 gauge varieties. I will see cost inflation all over the place. I contacted the company to talk about different sales and promotions so we can keep my costs low. I haven’t heard back from the head of the business department yet, but I look forward to taking that call so we can come up with pricing that works for both of us. I understand I’m going to need to pay more, but surely there must be a way that we can agree on some changes instead of all of the changes. The cost of iron forming wire doesn’t have to break the bank.
